Role: Computer Vision Consultant
Computer-vision work for Tractor Supply Company — the TractorVision program — covering in-store monitoring at scale and a newer push into generative imagery for product advertising.
In-store monitoring across 3,000 stores
Detection and tracking on existing ceiling cameras, deployed across the chain's store footprint. The model identifies people in frame, tracks them across cameras, and produces aggregate signals (foot traffic, dwell time, queue length) without keeping identifiable footage. Built on a YOLO-family detector tuned for the specific viewpoints and lighting of a hardware-store ceiling.
Generative product imagery
A current line of work: fine-tuning diffusion models on the company's product catalog so the marketing team can generate on-brand ad imagery for new SKUs without a full photo shoot. Output has to respect product-accurate detail (correct logo, correct color of the actual SKU) while staying in the visual style of the rest of the campaign.
Technical Highlights:
- Scaled YOLO-based object detection+tracking systems to monitor personnel across 3000 stores.
- (Ongoing) Training Diffusion-based Image generation models for product advertisements.
